STATUT_ Concours, non-construit
CONTEXTE_ Kaira Looro, 2019 En collaboration avec M. Cloutier
ANNÉE_ 2019
USAGE_ Pavillon institutionnel
LIEU_ Rivière Casamance, Sénégal

The project is a leitmotiv to live and let live, as well as to reflect upon history through interaction and contemplation. It evokes a society whose different parts spark a dynamic of rich interactions, laying the grounds for a collaborative introspection and communautary projection into an optimistic an conflict-ridden future.
The pavilions of the project each serve a programatic purpose, while being unified by the interstitial spaces that tie them together within the greater circle.
They vary in size, height, and program as an alegory of the different individuals of a population, and are tied together by their appartenance to the same greater circle, which opens up to the Casamance river, hence bearing a perspective of opening to the rest of the world, and a unity in their formal and programatic diversity.
